HyFlux is heading to EFATS 2026!
We’re excited to be attending the 6th International Workshop on Cryogenic Electric Powertrains, taking place 14–15 October in Oxford.
Representing HyFlux will be:
🔹 Dr. Gareth Smith – COO
🔹 Rob Bray – Engineering Director
🔹 Dr. Charalampos (Babis) Manolopoulos (Electromagnetic Systems Design Engineer)
And we’re particularly proud that Babis will be taking to the stage to present:
🎤 “Challenges of HPAL Air-Cored Cryogenic Windings”
As the aerospace industry moves towards cryogenic electrification and superconducting powertrains, understanding and overcoming the engineering challenges of operating high-performance electrical systems at cryogenic temperatures is critical.
At HyFlux, we’re working at the intersection of liquid hydrogen, cryogenic thermal management and superconducting electric propulsion — so EFATS is a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas with researchers, engineers, industry leaders and potential partners working on the technologies that could shape the next generation of aviation.
We’re looking forward to sharing our work, learning from others and meeting the growing community driving cryoelectrification forward.
If you’re attending EFATS 2026, come and hear Babis’s presentation and say hello to the HyFlux team! We’d love to connect. 🤝
